Curriculum artistico
Actor and musician, Luca Mauceri diplomed in Rome with the best score in Arts and Performing Arts. His theatrical training has been followed by italian and international masters like Ferruccio di Cori, Gary Brackett from Living Theater, the french mimo Yves Lebreton, Claudio De Maglio, Margarete Assmut.
In 2000-2001 he worked with Teatro Potlach in Fara Sabina attending to several workshops dedicated to body culture and voice with Daniela Regnoli.
In september 2002 is been selected by Piccolo Teatro di Milano as an actor for the show M’illumino di tragico, directed by G. Ceronetti. From january 2003 he works with Teatro dei Sensibili of G. Ceronetti and put on several plays like Rosa Vercesi. Una storia del 1930 and Qohélet produced by Piccolo teatro di Milano/Teatro d’Europa.
He was a guest of important festivals such as Festival della valle del Farfa, Fiera del libro di Torino, Festival della letteratura di Mantova, and played in several prestigious theatres like Piccolo Teatro Studio of Milan, Teatro Gobetti of Turin, Teatro della Tosse of Genova and Teatro Nuova Foce Studio of Lugano.
In december 2002 he attended to prestigious workshops with Luca Ronconi, Peter Brook, Stefano de Luca, Gilberto Tofano and Franco Graziosi, at Teatro Strehler of Milan.
From 2004 to 2006 he played with Compagnia di Rivista Marco Leandris.
From february 2006 he works as an actor and also as a composer with the sicilian director V. Pirrotta, with whom he played La sagra del Signore della nave, produced by Teatro di Roma, ‘U Ciclopu produced by Teatro Stabile di Catania and ‘N’gnanzou, La fuga di Enea, Malaluna, Lunaria, L’ultimo giorno di un condannato a morte produced by Esperidio Palermo.
In march 2009 actor, musician and composer for the show I misteri di Londra directed by M. Tamietti, produced by Teatro Stabile di Torino - Teatro ODS.
In november 2009 actor with Luigi Lo Cascio in Diceria dell’untore, and also composer for the same show, produced by Teatro Stabile di Catania.
In march 2010 he directed an audio-books school project for Loescher publishing house of Turin.
In recent years he also played in Switzerland, Germany, Portougal, Montenegro, Romania; he created street performances in Europe and he was guest of International Festival of Avignone and Water Festival of Stockolm.
From february 2002 Luca Mauceri is artistical director of Il Nido dell’Angelo - Teatro.
As a musician he composed several scores for theater, cinema and videoart. He published three cd (LUNARIA, TERRA MATTA, SULLE ROTTE DEL SOGNO) produced by EMA Records.
